Hello
Have you ever noticed something remarkable?
When you cut your finger...
- You don't have to tell it to heal.
- You don't have to remind it every morning.
- You don't have to consciously direct millions of cells to repair the damaged tissue.
Your body simply knows what to do.
Think about that for a moment.
Every second of every day your body is replacing worn-out cells, fighting infections, repairing damage, balancing hormones, digesting food, producing energy, and performing thousands of other functions—all without you having to think about any of it.
That's because your body was designed to maintain and repair itself.
So here's an interesting question:
If your body knows how to heal a cut...
Why would it suddenly "forget" how to heal the rest of you?
In my experience, that's usually not what has happened.
More often, the body's normal healing and repair systems have become overwhelmed.
Imagine trying to grow a beautiful garden while someone keeps dumping rocks, weeds, and trash into it every day.
The problem isn't that the garden has forgotten how to grow.
The problem is everything that's getting in the way.
Our bodies work much the same way.
When the obstacles become great enough, the body has to shift its priorities.
It does whatever it must to survive.
Sometimes that means symptoms begin appearing.
- Fatigue.
- Digestive problems.
- Poor sleep.
- Brain fog.
- Joint pain.
These aren't necessarily signs that your body has stopped working.
They may actually be signs that it's working as hard as it can under difficult circumstances.
One of my favorite questions to ask patients is this:
"If your body is trying to protect you instead of hurt you... what might it be trying to protect you from?"
That question often changes how people think about their health.
Instead of asking,
"What's wrong with me?"
they begin asking,
"What has my body been trying to tell me?"
If you've struggled with chronic health problems and would like to better understand what your body may be trying to communicate, I'd like to invite you to complete our complimentary Health Analysis Questionnaire.
After you complete the questionnaire, you'll schedule a phone consultation to discuss your situation.
